 | Generic Nexium (ESOMEPRAZOLE) is a Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) used to treat heartburn, or gastroesophageal reflux.  | Aciphex (RABEPRAZOLE) is an oral drug that is used for the treatment of conditions caused by acid. It is in a class of drugs called proton pump inhibitors or PPIs which block the production of acid by the stomach. Rabeprazole, like other PPIs, blocks the enzyme in the wall of the stomach that makes and secretes acid into the stomach. By blocking the enzyme, the secretion of acid into the stomach is decreased, and this allows ulcers in the stomach and esophagus to heal. |

It is particularly useful in treating irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and similar conditions. It works by relaxing the muscles and helping to restore the normal movement of the gut. |
 | Motilium (DOMPERIDONE (dom-PER-i-done)) is a medicine that increases the movements or contractions of the stomach and bowel. Domperidone is also used to treat nausea and vomiting caused by other drugs used to treat Parkinson's Disease.
Domperidone is to be given only by or under the immediate supervision of your doctor. It is available in the following dosage forms:

 | Pepcid (FAMOTIDINE) is in a class of drugs called histamine receptor antagonists. Pepcid works by decreasing the amount of acid the stomach produces.
Pepcid is used to treat and prevent ulcers in the stomach and intestines. Pepcid is also used to treat conditions in which the stomach produces too much acid and conditions in which acid comes up into the esophagus and causes heartburn, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
